Replacement Network Card Installation Instructions

Locate the existing NIC card: #

REF20/25

1. Open the door to the right of the Touchscreen controller. The NIC card is located behind the door.

2. Disconnect the wiring harness existing NIC card.
3. Remove defective NIC card.
4. Add Velcro to the replacement NIC card and install NIC card.
5. Verify both LED 1 and LED 2 (from L to R) has a steady 1 s ON/1 s OFF blink.
6. In some instances, the NIC wiring harness may also need to be replaced. Refer to “Façade removal” in
   the equipment Installation, Operation and Service manual for instructions.
7. Once the LEDs have been verified, provide the customer with this installation sheet as they will now
   need to provision the NIC card using the FollettConnect APP.

1. Locate and remove the 4 screws (2 each on right and left side) and remove the kick panel.

2. Locate the NIC attached to the control module mounting plate. Disconnect the wiring harness from the
   NIC card.
3. Remove the two screws attaching the NIC card to the control module mounting plate.

4. Install replacement NIC card to the control module mounting plate.
5. Reconnect NIC wiring harness (in some instances, the NIC wiring harness may also need to be
   replaced).
6. Verify both LED 1 and LED 2 (from left to right) has a steady 1 s ON/1 s OFF blink.
7. Once the LEDs have been verified provide the customer with this installation sheet as they will now need
   to provision the NIC card using the FollettConnect app.
