Universal sensors: an intelligent interface for customised monitoring
Dickson universal sensors are not sensors in the strict sense, but acquisition interfaces capable of receiving and interpreting analogue or digital signals from third-party sensors. Thanks to their great compatibility, they allow :
- Support for multiple protocols or signals: 4-20 mA, 0-5 V, 0-10 V, pulses, dry-contact digital signals, etc.
Integration of customised sensors: thermocouples, flowmeters, level sensors, particle or gas detectors, vibration sensors, oxygen levels, etc. - Configurable settings: each input can be defined in terms of conversion scales, units of measurement, alert thresholds for each sensor, etc.
