Cordless Smart-Sensor
Built around Dickson’s proprietary Smart-Sensor technology, this Temperature & Humidity sensor stores all calibration data directly in on-board memory — including correction coefficients, expanded uncertainty values, drift after one year, sensor serial number, and calibration certificate number. The result is true plug-and-play operation: the sensor is recognized and configured instantly when connected, and can be hot-swapped at recalibration time with a freshly calibrated unit, eliminating data gaps and downtime. Compatible with OCEAView Cloud, OCEAView On-premises, and DicksonOne Cloud platforms, it fits naturally into any existing Dickson monitoring infrastructure.
Dickson’s Temperature & Humidity Smart-Sensor is a compact, dual-measurement sensor designed for seamless integration with Cobalt X and Cobalt XS data loggers. Available cordless or with a 1-meter flat cable that won’t deform door seals, it continuously monitors both temperature and relative humidity across a wide range — from -40°C to +100°C and 0% to 100% RH — making it equally at home in a cold storage facility, a life science laboratory, or a cleanroom mapping project. Its all-digital architecture ensures maximum measurement consistency, while its PTFE filter and IP65 protection rating make it reliable in demanding environments.
• Quick and Easy Setup: The sensor’s plug-and-play capability combined with its wireless design allows for rapid deployment, reducing setup time and complexity.
• Real-Time Data Transmission: With built-in wireless connectivity, the sensor transmits data in real-time, providing instant access to critical environmental information.
• Comprehensive Compatibility: The Cordless Smart Sensor is compatible with DIckson’s latest data loggers, ensuring seamless integration with your existing monitoring systems.
• Smart Sensor Swap: Dickson’s Smart-Sensor technology stores all calibration information directly in on-board memory, including calibration correction coefficients, measurement uncertainty after calibration, drift, and many more.
• Measurement ranges: Temperature from -40°C to +100°C (-40°F to + 212°F) and Relative Humidity from 0% to 99.9% RH.

Temperature Monitoring
Maintaining precise temperature control is critical whether you’re managing a pharmaceutical cold chain, a stability chamber, a warehouse storage area, or a biotechnology laboratory. Even minor deviations can compromise product integrity, invalidate research results, or trigger costly regulatory non-conformances. The Dickson Smart-Sensor was designed to remove that risk. With a measurement range spanning -40°C to +100°C (-40°F to +212°F) and a resolution of 0.01°C, it delivers the accuracy and reliability you need to protect your most sensitive assets — continuously, and without interruption.
Deployed cordless or with a flat cable that won’t deform door seals, the Smart-Sensor fits discreetly into any environment without disrupting existing infrastructure. It transmits data in real time to OCEAView Cloud, OCEAView On-premises, or DicksonOne Cloud, so your team always has an up-to-date view of temperature conditions across every monitored zone. Whether you’re running a single storage room or mapping a multi-zone facility, the Smart-Sensor gives you the confidence to act before a deviation becomes a problem.
Humidity Monitoring
Excess moisture or unexpected dryness can compromise product integrity, corrupt research samples, accelerate material degradation, or trigger compliance failures that are difficult and expensive to remediate. Relative humidity is one of the most consequential environmental variables in any controlled setting — and one of the most overlooked. The Dickson Smart-Sensor measures relative humidity from 0% to 100% RH (non-condensing) with a resolution of 0.05% RH and an expanded uncertainty as low as ±2% RH, giving you a precise, real-time picture of ambient conditions in any environment where moisture levels matter.
Its PTFE filter and IP65 protection rating ensure consistent measurement performance even in humid or challenging spaces such as incubators, stability chambers, cleanrooms, and life science laboratories. Combined with Dickson’s cloud monitoring platforms, humidity data is logged continuously and made accessible from anywhere, enabling your team to identify trends, respond to anomalies, and maintain the documented evidence your quality processes require — all from a single compact sensor that installs in minutes.
Calibration Capabilities
Calibration is the foundation of any compliant monitoring program — but traditional recalibration workflows create exactly the kind of downtime and data gaps that regulated industries cannot afford. Dickson’s Smart-Sensor technology was built to solve that problem at its root. All calibration data is stored directly in the sensor’s on-board memory: correction coefficients (a, a/b or a/b/c), expanded measurement uncertainty after calibration, drift after one year, sensor serial number, and calibration certificate number. When the sensor is connected, that information is read instantly by the data logger, with no manual configuration required and no risk of human error in the setup process.
When recalibration is due, the process is equally seamless. Simply hot-swap the sensor with a freshly calibrated unit — the replacement is recognized immediately, data collection resumes without gaps, and your compliance records remain uninterrupted. The Smart-Sensor is available with ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration, NIST traceable calibration, or certified non-accredited calibration, so you can match the level of metrological rigor your quality system demands. For organizations operating under GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, or ISO audit requirements, it is one of the most practical calibration management solutions available today.
