Cobalt X data loggers support up to 4 external sensors simultaneously to monitor your invaluable equipment. Readings are recorded in on-board memory, then transmitted to the OCEAView remote monitoring solution via LoRaWAN or Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity. Cobalt X offers interactive touch screen controls and highly visible alert indicators, with support for a wide variety of environmental sensors, including our Bluetooth enabled remote sensors.

This device is particularly ideal for applications within the life sciences sector, including laboratories, hospitals, storage facilities, and pharmaceutical production areas, where precise environmental control is crucial.

The interactive touchscreen interface provides users with fast access to setup, essential information, and alarm acknowledgment, ensuring streamlined operations. Enhanced security is maintained through PIN code protection, safeguarding against unauthorized access. Additionally, the Cobalt X Data Logger offers full integration with the DicksonOne and OCEAView Cloud or an On-premises monitoring solution, providing flexibility in data management. It supports both LoRaWAN® long-range and Bluetooth® short-range wireless connectivity, ensuring reliable and efficient communication in diverse settings.

  • Monitoring Applications: The Cobalt X Data Logger is engineered to accommodate a broad spectrum of monitoring applications, including refrigerators, freezers, ultra-low temperature (ULT) freezers, nitrogen tanks, water baths, ovens, CO2 incubators, autoclaves, cold rooms, cleanrooms, warehouses, and more. This versatility ensures precise environmental control across diverse operational settings.
  • Physical Parameters: The device meticulously measures various physical parameters such as temperature, relative humidity, CO2 levels, differential pressure, 4-20 mA, 0-5 V, 0-10 V, dry contact input, and light intensity, offering comprehensive monitoring capabilities.
  • Supported Sensors: It supports one or two Binder connectors compatible with all Dickson Smart-Sensors, digital temperature sensors, and Atlas/Emerald wireless sensors, as well as third-party Pt100 sensors via Smart-Sensor Binder or Omega adapters. This broad compatibility allows for customized monitoring solutions.
  • Calibration Options: Users have access to multiple calibration options, including ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibrations, certified (non-accredited) calibrations, or NIST-traceable calibrations. Recalibration is streamlined through sensor exchange, ensuring continued accuracy and reliability.
  • Device Variants: The Cobalt X Data Logger is available in two variants: Cobalt X1, supporting up to 2 measurement points, and Cobalt X2, which handles up to 4 measurement points.
  • User Interface: A 2.4” (6.1 cm) glove-compatible, color touchscreen facilitates setup, synchronization with servers, and provides real-time viewing of the latest readings and alarm statuses. Users can acknowledge alarms with secure PIN code access.
  • Temperature Display: Users can view temperature readings in either °C or °F, depending on their preference.
  • Alarm Limits: The device supports 3 high and 3 low programmable alarm or warning limits per measurement point, with customizable delay settings and adjustable sensor reading intervals ensuring tailored monitoring.
