Export Data Manually from a Device
About Exporting Data Manually
- DicksonOne data loggers are designed to locally store data at all times based on their storage capacity and battery backup specifications.
- Users can manually export data form a physical device via USB at anytime, which can be useful during any planned or unplanned outages for emergency use.
- Exporting your data manually from a device varies by device model, so be sure to review the devices that apply to you.
- A FAT32 USB is required with no firmware files on it.
- RF logger only requires a USB OTG cable.
How to Export Data Manually
DWE Model: Basic Display Data Logger
- Insert your USB into the USB port on the left-side of the device (be sure that the USB contains no firmware files and is a FAT32 USB)
- Press the black button on the left for 1-2 seconds to export the data since the last export (LED light will flash1 time) or hold for 4 seconds for all data (LED light will flash 2 times)
- You will see an arrow pointing down with a line under it (below the WiFi icon) flashing until the download has completed

TWE/TWP: Touchscreen Logger
- Insert your USB into the USB port on the left-side of the device (be sure that the USB contains no firmware files and is a FAT32 USB)
- Click on the settings gear icon on your device
- Go the the stored data icon and click on it on the left navigation bar
- Click Save to USB and select the file time and range of data that you wish to export

RFL: Radio Frequency Logger
- Connect the USB flash drive (be sure that the USB contains no firmware files and is a FAT32 USB) to the OTG cable
- Plug the OTG cable into the logger’s micro USB port while powered on
- A download icon will appear on the device screen and flash until the export is complete
