Why Choose Dickson’s Calibration Service?
Dickson’s sensors are calibrated by highly trained Calibration Technicians using National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceable standards. This ensures our calibrations have the highest Chain of Compliance and that your sensors accurately reflect your environment.
A plug-and-play calibration solution, Replaceable Sensors™ means zero downtime when it comes to recalibration. Simply replace the old sensor without powering down or unplugging your device.
Dickson’s ISO 17025 A2LA accredited lab means accurate calibration. A2LA is the largest and most well-recognized accreditor of calibration laboratories in the United States.
How Calibration Works
“Stable environments” are essential to calibrations. We can’t assume any temperature, humidity, or pressure value without the use of a NIST standard and specialized equipment to create a confined, stable environment.
After the sensor and standard are both within the stable environment, we run comparison tests for the entire operating range a sensor can read, recording by how much the sensor deviated from the standard at each value.
We perform both a zero-point and span adjustment when necessary, to ensure device accuracy. Then perform a final calibration reading and provide you with a NIST traceable calibration certificate.
