Smart DS – Temperature Sensor

Continuous monitoring with OCEAView and DicksonOne solutions

This smart temperature sensor is designed for use with the OCEAView and DicksonOne monitoring solutions. It is compatible with Cobalt X1, X2, and XS data loggers, drawing power directly from the data logger when taking readings.

The Smart DS temperature sensor is used for ensuring precise environmental control in healthcare, laboratory, hospital, research settings, and much more. This sensor is a practical choice for monitoring storage conditions of sensitive pharmaceuticals and biological samples, such as vaccines, blood products, and tissue specimens, as well as medical freezers, cold rooms, incubators, and storage areas.

Its measurement range of -40°C to +80°C covers a wide variety of applications.

Embedded Smart-Sensor intelligence

Dickson’s Smart-Sensor technology brings the benefit of true plug n’play operation to your data loggers, no configuration

required. Smart-Sensors make maintenance easy by storing calibration information in on-board memory, including correction coefficients (a/b or a/b/c), calibration uncertainty, and drift after one year.

Calibration options

At our three regional locations, Dickson’s experienced and accredited in-house laboratories offer the calibration services you need to keep your readings accurate and stay compliant in your industry. After initial calibration, you can easily swap your current sensor with a freshly calibrated sensor without any data loss or downtime.
