USB Device Not Recognized error message shows when I plug in the USB

If the logger has a remote probe, make sure that the probe is plugged all of the way in. Double check to make sure that it is secure (probe should not unplug easily).

If the probe is secure or the logger does not have a remote probe:

  1. Unplug the USB from the logger or repeater
  2. Remove AC power and turn the unit off
  3. Leave for 1 minute
  4. Reconnect the USB cable
  5. Add logger or repeater window should open
  6. Add unit
  7. Unplug from USB per instructions, turn on and connect AC power

If the previous setup does not work, there could be a USB issue with the PC. Try a different USB port or unplug unit from USB. Shutdown WiZARD2 software and reboot PC.
